At baptism, we are claimed for Christ and given Grace in this Sacrament of Initiation into the Catholic Church. Sacraments are celebrations, but they are also processes. That means we benefit from feeding our faith with prayer, Mass, Eucharist, acts of mercy and charity, reading, talking, spending time with other believers, and receiving the Sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation). The Christian message is Good News! It is not about guilt or despair.
